Duo Bubreg

Siblings Bence a Márton Bubreg from Austria were awarded 1st prize in DUO category and they are also absolute winners of Concertino Praga 2018.

Bence Bubreg (16), and his younger brother Márton Bubreg (13) - living in Austria - come from a Hungarian musician family. Bence is studying clarinet on the Tyrolean State Conservatory by Maximilian Bauer, and Márton saxophon on the Music Academy Munich by Koryun Asatryan. 

Bence and Márton have been winning first prizes by various international competitions in Japan, Italy, France, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Austria, and Croatia. 

Márton made his first debut at the age of 10, as the ever youngest soloist of the Tirolern Symphony Orchestra at the Innsbruck Summer Festival. He also received, as a youngest competitor, the Grand Prix of Tyrolean Classic Instrumentalists Prize in 2017. For his extraordinary artistic achievement, Bence received the Jeunesse Special Award. 

The Bubreg brothers have performed in the famous National Philharmonic concert hall in Kiev, as well as at festivals such as the International Tchaikovsky Festival in Vinnytsia, Legeartis Lech Festival in Berlin. They played as soloists with the Tyrolean Chamber Orchestra Innstrumenti in Merano and Innsbruck last year. Theirs recent performance highlights include a “Carnegie Hall” debut in March 2017. This year, the Bubreg brothers have their debut in “Wiener Konzerthaus” in Vienna.
